Intercityhotel Dortmund

We had modern, spacious room with USB sockets as well as comfortable bed.

The property was fairly clean and staff was amiable and pleasant. The location was unbeatable and great - just a walk down to everywhere we wanted to go. Plus, it was really close to the train station as well as football stadium.

I can't believe how awful the service was ! The staff at check-in were cold, and it seemed like I was bothering them just by being there. The breakfast situation was a nightmare. Not only did the food run out quickly, but then I had to wait almost 15 minutes for more bread! To top it off, I was basically chased down to pay for my meal before I even sat down. This is not how a proper hotel should operate!

Inattentive reception staff could use retraining in customer service skills!!! A more thorough housekeeping routine would prevent unpleasant surprises like wet towels and lingering odors!!!

My best decision yet!

A gem of a hotel just steps from the train station! My room was serene, boasting a spacious bed and superb amenities. The interior felt fresh and modern. Navigating to the city center was easy, and the staff, while occasionally inconsistent, were mostly friendly and helpful.

A decent spot for solo travelers

The room was quiet and the bed was super large and comfy. The bathroom facilities were modern and had plenty of power points, great for charging my stuff.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.

I really enjoyed my 5-night stay here, especially the breakfast with tons of options and delicious coffee that kickstarted my day. The spa and rooftop terrace offered some great relaxation spots, perfect for unwinding after exploring the city. The only thing was the thermostat didn't cool the room down much, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all. 😊

The hotel had a fantastic location, just steps from the main train station. My room was spacious and equipped with a comfortable king-sized bed, which I loved. The refrigerator came in handy for storing snacks. The décor felt modern and inviting. The Wi-Fi connection worked well, perfect for catching up on emails. There were a few downsides. I found it strange that the room only had a double-sized duvet for the king bed, which left me a bit chilly at night. Only one pillow was provided, and even though I could have asked for another, I didn't feel like it. Breakfast had great offerings but I noticed delayed replenishments on a couple of mornings, which caused long queues. Staff seemed a bit slow at times, and I had to repeat requests to get things sorted. These minor irritations. But, the overall cleanliness and comfort of the hotel kept me satisfied.
